Meet Shanée
Many people arrive at therapy feeling weighed down by experiences they didn’t expect to carry, stress that builds quietly, old wounds that resurface, or patterns that keep repeating. As a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I bring over ten years of experience supporting individuals through moments of overwhelm and transition, helping them make sense of what feels confusing or heavy.
I work from a trauma-informed lens, rooted in the belief that at our core, we all want to be seen and heard. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore your story, deepen mind‑body awareness, and build self‑compassion in ways that feel safe and manageable.
Together, we will navigate change with care and intention. I’ll share practical therapeutic tools, including grounding techniques, perspective-shifting exercises, and resilience-building strategies. Our work can help uncover the root of your distress and begin healing wounds, creating space for clarity and growth.
Everyone deserves a safe space to unpack their stories and move through obstacles with care. Whether you’re navigating change, seeking clarity, or simply curious about your own story, I’m here to support you.
With gratitude,
Shanée Harmon
“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” — Fred Rogers
